Journal of Global Environmental Justice

Aims and Scope:

The Journal of Global Environmental Justice (GEJ) is a peer-reviewed academic journal featuring undergraduate UC Santa Cruz research. We aim to highlight interdisciplinary research that explores communities and nations, especially historically-marginalized societies, that are impacted by environmental, social, and/or ecological changes. Within emerging interpretations of environmental justice, such papers consider topics such as climate justice, sustainable development, global food systems, and environmental rights, among other topics. As a student-run and open-access journal, we bridge dialogues among students, faculty, and the general public to share the valuable, diverse perspectives of those within and around academia.

Volumes:

Volume 1, Fall 2020
